What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a results-driven and analytically rigorous leader to oversee consolidated strategic portfolio and performance management reporting for Innovation & Technology. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the I&T senior leadership team, supporting and managing initiatives led by the I&T Strategic Initiatives team. As a strategic co‑pilot, you will drive financial insights and thought leadership to influence business outcomes.

- Manage a high-performing team (1 direct report) to deliver consolidated strategic and performance management reporting (including Monthly Business Review, Quarterly Business Review, Zero Based Budgeting reporting).
- Serve as the primary strategic, finance and resource management contact representing I&T for T&O Finance, Technology Chief Operating Office, and US CIO Operating Office.
- Lead end-to-end Portfolio Management including monthly portfolio reporting, monthly financial and resource reporting.
- Support senior level requests for metric reporting to Technology Chief Operating Office and.
- Partner with Financial Control to ensure financial integrity of reported results and compliance with accounting standards.
- Identify and implement enhancements to reporting processes, forecasting and planning workflows.
- Own coordination and consolidation of the Annual Planning cycle for I&T including managing timelines, overall narrative and deliverables for key finance and business stakeholders.
- Co‑lead the coordination and production of the I&T Monthly and Quarterly Business Review shared with the Group Head of RBC Technology & Operations and RBC’s CEO.
- Acting as a strategic co‑pilot, partner with the I&T Senior Leadership Team to drive actionable insights and strategies, support business case analysis.
- Translate financial and capacity data into clear, executive‑ready narratives for OC level executives.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced credentials (MBA, CFA, CPA) are strongly preferred. - Leadership & Executive Presence: 8+ years of progressive experience in a relevant role, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated ability to inspire teams through clear vision, talent development, and future‑focused growth.

Demonstrated ability to prepare and present financial content for senior leadership. - Technical Proficiency:
Exceptional financial modeling, data analysis, and communication skills. - Industry Knowledge:
