Senior Manager, Recovery & Compliance Leadership

The Senior Manager for Default Recovery reports directly to the VP Default Recovery & Accounts Receivable. This key role is responsible for the oversight of recovery strategies aimed at minimizing losses from delinquent residential and small commercial mortgages. You will manage both internal teams and external partners to enforce compliance, drive performance improvements, and present strategic updates to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive recovery strategies

• Manage relationship with solicitors and related external partners

• Mentor and coach recovery teams to enhance performance

• Direct legal processes in line with provincial laws

• Monitor recovery trends and optimize processes

Requirements:

• University degree in relevant field

• 8-12 years in mortgage lending or financial services

• Proven leadership capabilities in a compliance-driven environment

• Deep understanding of debt recovery and regulations

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
