Recreation Manager

Position: Full-Time Recreation Manager Role
Lead the Recreation department as a full-time Recreation Manager, focused on enhancing residents' quality of life through engaging activities. Inspire a team to support residents' well-being.

This role requires a minimum of two years of specialized experience in a senior care environment. You will manage recreation staff and volunteers, ensuring resident satisfaction through diverse programming. Achieving departmental objectives and managing budgets is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve targets for resident and family satisfaction

• Oversee multiple monthly events and activities

• Cultivate and train recreation staff and volunteers

• Manage budget and track expenditures diligently

• Collaborate to create impactful resident programs

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Recreation Therapy or relevant field

• At least one year in a healthcare setting

• Two years of program planning experience in seniors’ care

• Proficient communication and leadership skills

• Valid Vulnerable Sector Search (within last six months)
