In this full-time position, you will directly report to the Vice President and General Manager, ensuring that the orchestra thrives in a well-resourced environment.
Your role will involve managing labor relations, supporting positive musician relationships, and actively interpreting the TSO-TMA General Agreement, all while fostering a respectful atmosphere for collaborative work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead orchestra personnel and service preparations
• Ensure consistent compliance with the TSO-TMA General Agreement
• Resolve personnel issues while fostering professionalism
• Coordinate resources for artistic and operational priorities
• Manage contracts and payroll with a focus on accuracy
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in music or relevant field
• 5-7 years’ experience in orchestra personnel management
• Established knowledge of industry practices and repertoire
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information
• Strong commitment to inclusion and respectful practices
