A leading packaging manufacturer is seeking an influential and hands-on Director of Sales to lead its sales team through continued growth and market expansion. This opportunity is ideal for a strong sales leader who can inspire teams, drive strategic direction, and create a high-performance sales culture within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is not a desk-only leadership position.
The organization is looking for a forward-thinking leader capable of motivating teams through change, sharpening sales focus, and implementing strategies that increase market share and overall business performance.
Compensation

Position Description
The successful candidate will be a visible and engaged leader who works closely alongside the sales team, helping develop strategy while remaining actively involved in customer relationships, business development initiatives, and day-to-day sales execution.
This role is best suited for a driven and energetic sales leader who enjoys building teams, creating momentum, and leading from the front. The company is seeking someone who can bring vision, accountability, and renewed focus to the sales organization while remaining approachable, motivational, and actively involved in the success of the team.
Experience
Lead and mentor a packaging sales team while fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and collaborationDevelop and execute strategic sales initiatives designed to increase revenue, profitability, and market shareProvide leadership and direction to reposition and refocus sales efforts toward long-term growth objectivesCoach, motivate, and support sales representatives through active involvement in the field and customer-facing activitiesIdentify new business opportunities and strategic market segments within the packaging industryBuild strong relationships with key customers and strategic partnersWork cross-functionally with operations, production, customer service, and executive leadership to align sales strategies with company objectivesAnalyze market trends, customer activity, and competitive positioning to guide business decisionsEstablish sales targets, performance metrics, and development plans for the teamLead by example through a hands-on, team-oriented management styleQualifications
Proven leadership experience within packaging, print, labels, or related manufacturing industriesBackground in sales management roles such as Sales Manager, Director of Sales, VP Sales, or Sales leadership positionsStrong ability to execute sales strategies that drive market penetration and business growthDemonstrated success leading teams through organizational growth, change, or strategic redirectionStrategic business mindset combined with strong relationship-building and communication abilitiesEngaging, motivating, and highly people-oriented leadership styleAbility to balance high-level sales strategy with hands-on leadership and execution
