We are seeking an interim Program Director to lead our Surgical team. Reporting to the Vice President Clinical, the Program Director of Surgical Services provides strategic leadership oversight for the delivery of the Surgical Services portfolio (Surgical In‑patient Units, Out‑patient Clinics, Acute Pain Service, Bariatrics & NSQIP) delivering quality patient care services that meets legal, regulatory, and professional requirements aligned with corporate goals and objectives.
The Program Director sets the program’s strategic direction in collaboration with the Chief/Physician Director to support and promote the use of best practices within Humber River Health.
Substantive education in a related clinical discipline, clinical experience in acute services coupled with at least five years management experience working with a medical dyad partner and experience in business planning, resource management, program planning, development, evaluation and managing patient care services is required for this role. If you are passionate about furthering clinical care, energized by innovation and change, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy coordinating multiple priorities and stakeholders in a supportive, fast‑paced environment, this leadership role is for you!
