Position Description

As the Project Manager – Engineering, you will be entrusted to bring to successful fruition the specified design, plan and control of individual projects, satisfying the project deliverables in the time frame discussed with the organization’s client. As an experienced Project Manager, you’ll be well aware that you will also be tasked with also controlling costs, budgets, and reporting daily project activities with the production team and other project stakeholders where appropriate.

You will operate out of Toronto, ON and with travel within Canada and to the U.S., Mexico and possibly South America.

Annual initiatives notwithstanding, key areas of deliverability in this important position are:

  • Project management
  • Day-to-day project activities
  • Design risk assessment
  • Experience

  • 5 years of experience working with engineering, manufacturing and distribution operations in an industrial environment
  • Extensive project management experience a must
  • Qualifications

  • Excellent project management skills and acumen are required
  • Mechanical Building Services background
  • Ability to work on own initiative but also be a key member of a team
  • Proven time management capability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and Project
  • AutoCAD experience/qualification
  • Valid Driving license
  • Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations (centralized and matrix organizational structures)
  • Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action
  • Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results
  • Ability to travel within Canada, the United States of America, and Mexico and South America
  • Education

    University Degree or equivalent.
