Youth Outreach and Drop-In Manager

Become a pivotal figure at Covenant House as a Drop-In and Outreach Supervisor, focusing on youth safety and program effectiveness. Lead your team in a trauma-informed approach to service.

This role involves supervising staff in providing essential services to young people in need. You will orchestrate daily operations, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and facilitate professional development among your team.

Your role will also include collaborating with other departments to fill service gaps and develop new outreach programs tailored to youth needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage staff and ensure program policy adherence

• Maintain safety and security of drop-in services

• Facilitate team meetings for staff collaboration

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of program activities

• Develop community partnerships to enhance service delivery

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in similar fields

• Diploma in Child and Youth Work or Bachelor in Social Work

• Understanding of relevant youth issues including homelessness

• Certified in first aid and crisis intervention

• Strong communication and leadership abilities
