In this role, you will lead utility-scale energy storage projects from initial stages to financial close. Your responsibilities include developing strategies that meet regulatory standards and building partnerships with Indigenous communities. Your leadership will be key in ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead utility-scale energy project life cycles
• Define and implement development strategies and risk management plans
• Facilitate relationships with First Nations and Indigenous people
• Oversee regulatory compliance and permitting processes
• Engage with stakeholders for project advocacy
Requirements:
• 10–15+ years of project development experience
• Proven track record in environmental permitting
• Strong partnership skills with Indigenous communities
• Experience in land rights negotiations
• Knowledge of Ontario's energy market dynamics
