    From historic landmarks like Old City Hall and St. Lawrence Market to essential hubs such as Union Station and City Hall, our teams play a critical role in keeping the city running- safely, efficiently, and without disruption. These high-profile assets are at the heart of civic life, economic activity, and cultural heritage, and we are committed to ensuring they remain resilient, sustainable, and accessible for generations to come.

    We are seeking skilled professionals to join one of our four specialized teams:

  • Divisional Client Services Team – Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, this team builds strong relationships, understands operational needs, and delivers responsive, solutions-oriented service while maintaining a strong focus on value.
  • Technical Centre of Excellence – Contracted Services Team – Dedicated to vendor oversight and service delivery performance, this team manages contracts, ensures compliance, mitigates risk, and drives value from external service providers.
  • Technical Centre of Excellence – Internal Team – Focused on the reliable operation of complex building systems, this team provides hands-on technical expertise through licensed and non-licensed trades, advanced troubleshooting, and maintenance leadership.
  • Key Assets Team – Responsible for the City's most prominent facilities, this team leads the operation, maintenance, and long-term stewardship of landmark buildings, balancing operational excellence with heritage preservation, Across all teams, we are looking for professionals with strong technical and/or operational expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to collaboration, service excellence, and results.
  • At One FM, you'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams, support strategic initiatives, and help shape the future of municipal facility management.

    What You Will Do

    Supporting One FM's service delivery model, this role requires strong leadership in business operations and people management. As a key leader within Facilities Management, you will demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

    Expertise Leading Service Delivery

    Drawing on your experience managing 24/7 operations, you will ensure the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of a diverse portfolio of facilities by:

  • Developing client-focused solutions that balance cost, timelines, sustainability, and service excellence.
  • Overseeing technical and non-technical building services (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and structural systems) while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
  • Leading preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset lifecycle and minimize disruption.
  • Monitoring KPI performance and communicating operational insights and performance results.
  • Managing operating and capital budgets while ensuring fiscal accountability.
  • Providing on-call leadership and emergency response to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Expertise Building Relationships and Leading People

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal partners, vendors, and senior leadership.
  • Lead and coordinate in-house teams and contracted service providers to deliver high-quality service.
  • Supervise unionized and non-unionized staff, including scheduling, coaching, performance management, and development.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
