Director of Board Operations at HOOPP

Lead Board governance and operational excellence with HOOPP as the Director of Board Operations. Drive continuous improvement and governance modernization using advanced technologies and AI solutions.

Reporting to the Vice President of Board Secretariat, this senior role is essential for the effective functioning of HOOPP's Board of Trustees and its Committees. You will oversee governance services, Board planning and administrative processes, and ensure compliance with governance standards. Your strategic leadership will also focus on relationship management and governance effectiveness initiatives, enhancing decision-making and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day Board operations and governance support

• Provide governance advice to the CEO and Board Chairs

• Execute governance effectiveness initiatives and reviews

• Champion governance technologies and projects

• Manage Board Secretariat budget and administration

Requirements:

• 15+ years in Board governance or corporate governance

• Undergraduate degree in relevant fields; governance certification is an asset

• Strong experience with Board support and governance processes

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
