Sustainability Leader Environmental Management

Aecon Civil seeks an experienced Sustainability Leader to drive environmental compliance in transformative infrastructure projects. This role is pivotal in managing environmental aspects and leading project teams.

As the Environmental Manager at Aecon Civil, you will ensure that all projects comply with environmental legislation and standards. Your expertise in environmental management systems, specifically ISO 14001, will enhance project sustainability efforts. Collaborating with diverse teams, you will also develop robust relationships with environmental authorities to facilitate compliance and operational success.

• Audit and report on Environmental Management System performance
• Guide environmental monitoring and compliance efforts
• Establish working relationships with environmental authorities
• Develop training programs on environmental practices
• Prepare quarterly and annual environmental reports

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or similar discipline
• Over 10 years of management experience in infrastructure
• Comprehensive understanding of environmental regulations
• Proven ability in writing management plans and documentation
• Solid leadership and conflict resolution capabilities
