• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of up to 4 engineers, designers, CAD staff, and project managers to deliver projects on a timely basis.
• Provide clear communication on team skillset, resourcing and development to Senior Manager and Associate Director.
• Primarily responsible for managing, retaining, and developing staff members.
• Identify and staff projects, either directly or through Project Managers.
• Act as a primary relationship manager for a select group of clients.
• Monitor status of projects through Project Managers.
• Engage in performance management cycle for direct reports.
• Responsible for project billings and expenses of team with manager review and approval.
• Responsible for financial performance of the projects that they invoice for.
• Approve time sheets of team members.
• Actively participate in divisional operations meeting.

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• P.Eng with PEO.
• 10+ years engineering consulting experience.
• People Management an asset.
• Related industry project experience an asset.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
• Good accuracy and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.

The expected salary for this role is between $100,000 to $140,000 annually. Base salaries are determined considering several factors such as skills and competencies, experience, education, and internal and external competitiveness. Along with your base salary we offer a wide array of programs that include our Short Term Incentive bonus program, technical and business training, mentoring, wellness initiatives, the opportunity to participate in our coveted Defined Benefit Pension plan, flexible work arrangement, and hybrid work structure.
