Step into a pivotal role at Stantec as a Commercial Management Lead for Major Projects, with responsibility across the Infrastructure BOU. Engage in contractual matters, leading teams and ensuring project success through strategic oversight.

In this senior position, you will manage Commercial Managers and direct the Commercial Delivery Team. As the Commercial Manager, you will tackle project issues that impact the company’s commercial standing, ensuring projects adhere to Stantec’s policies. This role demands a strong grasp of Earned Value Management and project scheduling to maintain effective control over project finances and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct a team of Commercial Managers and Project Controls Specialists

• Address contractual issues to protect company interests

• Oversee implementation of project financial tracking systems

• Maintain the Project Risk Register and Design Schedule

• Prepare Monthly Commercial, Contractual, and Risk Reports

Requirements:

• 15+ years in Design or Project Management

• BS in Engineering or Construction Management

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience in claims management and contract administration

• Self-motivated with leadership capabilities
