VA Leaside's launch team, providing lifestyle leadership in Toronto's luxury retirement residence. Focus on enhancing seniors' quality of life through engaging activities and programs.
As the Lifestyle Manager, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and promoting recreational activities that resonate with our seniors.
Your role will include mentoring team members and spearheading volunteer initiatives, all aimed at fostering community engagement. Collaborating closely with the Community Director, you will refine the services offered to members, ensuring they have an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Initiate activities that foster communication among Community Members
• Curate educational and recreational programming based on interests
• Execute the V!
VAfit Program as prescribed
• Monitor engagement and adapt offerings for impact
• Manage volunteer programs and recruitment processes
Requirements:
• At least 2 years in facilitating senior programs
• Education in Recreation Therapy or similar
• Certifications in fitness training are advantageous
• Excellent communication with diverse audiences
• Good driving record and license; flexible hours needed
