Director of Facilities Management

Position: Director of Facilities Management at Fitzrovia
Lead innovative facilities management at Fitzrovia as a Director overseeing a diverse portfolio. This full-time office-based role focuses on optimizing operational performance and technical services across key regions.

As Director, you will report to the Vice President, directing the facilities management strategy and operational performance across Ontario, Quebec, and Vancouver. This role requires a hands-on leader with expertise in maintenance programs, budgeting, and vendor management in residential, office, and retail spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee multi-region facilities operations and performance

• Implement preventative maintenance programs across assets

• Manage annual operating budgets and capital plans

• Negotiate service contracts and vendor agreements

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a related field preferred

• 5–10 years in facilities management, multi-residential focus

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

• Technical knowledge of building systems and regulatory compliance
