Manager EMAT Operations and Readiness

Join the Ontario Emergency Medical Assistance Team (EMAT) as Manager of Operations and Readiness with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. This role demands experience in health emergency management and team leadership.

In this pivotal position, you'll manage a multidisciplinary team of 160 professionals to deploy essential healthcare services across Ontario. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance, executing budgets, and training staff for emergency responses. Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the coordination of EMAT operations and administrative staff

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and policies

• Lead the planning and submission of operational budgets

• Develop emergency response policies and training programs

• Support the Emergency Operations Centre during deployments

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree;
Master’s degree favored

• Extensive management experience in emergency services

• Certification in Incident Management System a plus

• In-depth knowledge of Ontario's healthcare framework

• Strong communication and relationship management skills
