Position: Lead Grower Opportunity
Take the lead in plant cultivation as a Grower at UP Vertical Farms. This full-time position in Toronto offers a dynamic environment focusing on production quality and team leadership.

As a Lead Grower, you will implement innovative strategies to ensure thriving crop growth and mentor your team in best practices. You’ll manage irrigation systems and pest management, contributing to the overall efficiency of grow operations and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all aspects of crop propagation and management

• Implement effective growing and irrigation strategies

• Supervise and train grow team members

• Maintain records for crop production and quality control

• Ensure adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related discipline

• 3–5 years in commercial growing or greenhouse management

• Minimum 2 years of experience in leadership roles

• Familiarity with hydroponic systems is advantageous

• Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
