Facilities Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure all mechanical and electrical equipment meet operational/statutory requirements
• Responsible for resilience programs of building systems
• Lead Continuous Quality Improvement objectives
• Oversight of supervisory team managing day-to-day operations
• Ensure effective maintenance and asset replacement schedules
• Manage financial and departmental delivery of facilities services
• Act as a technical resource for CMMS systems optimization

• 5 years of engineering management experience in a maintenance environment
• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Fire Code, and healthcare facility standards
• Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and ICAT systems
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Critical thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with a large unionized team
• Understanding of contract management and union negotiations
