Manager, Environmental Health & Safety

Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining Maple Lodge’s high safety standards. Reporting to the Director, you will implement training programs, monitor compliance with regulations, and develop strategies for enhancing employee engagement in safety practices. This contract role is key in supporting both operational and environmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety management strategies

• Support claims management and monitor safety compliance

• Present health and safety data to upper management

• Investigate incidents and support root cause analysis

• Enhance contractor compliance and safety communication

Requirements:

• 5-10 years in health and safety management

• In-depth knowledge of OH&S regulations

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• University degree or equivalent experience

• Relevant safety certifications such as CRSP or CHSC
