Vice President Valuations

Position: Vice President Valuations at OMERS
Lead valuation excellence in the role of Vice President, Valuations at OMERS in Toronto. Elevate your impact through strategic oversight and team leadership within investment finance processes.

This critical position reports to the EVP, Investment Finance & Operations. You will lead a talented team responsible for private equity and credit valuations while actively enhancing methodologies and processes for approximately $40 billion in assets. Your expertise will directly influence relationships across the C-Suite and ensure our valuation practices align with leading market standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspire and manage a team of ~10 valuation professionals

• Direct quarterly and annual valuation processes for $40 billion

• Provide independent challenge on valuation assumptions

• Oversee maintenance of financial models for portfolio assets

• Collaborate with deal teams on transactions and asset queries

Requirements:

• 12+ years of valuations experience with complex investments

• 7+ years of progressive team leadership experience

• 5+ years of executive-level communication skills

• Chartered Business Valuation (CBV) or equivalent required

• Expertise in private and public investment valuation methodologies
