Control and Yard Operations Manager

Lead Control and Yard Operations at Purolator's National Hub in Ontario. Manage staff, enhance productivity, and ensure operational efficiency in this key managerial role.

As the Section Manager, you'll oversee all Control and Yard Operations, driving performance and compliance while managing a team of Unit Managers. Your ability to implement strategies and develop managerial talent will be critical for achieving departmental targets and fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead Unit Managers in control room operations

• Develop and implement yard and operational strategies

• Analyze reports for performance and budget planning

• Ensure compliance with policies while maintaining customer service

• Mediate disputes and develop staff through training

Requirements:

• Post-secondary qualification in business

• 3-5 years of management experience

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with lean methodologies and project management
