Construction Payroll Manager

The Payroll Manager will oversee a team of five direct reports while managing payroll for 2,000 hourly and salaried employees. Reporting directly to the Director of Payroll and Benefits, candidates should possess expertise in leading year-end audits and T4 submissions.
Experience with ADP WFN or Dayforce is a plus, and familiarity with mergers and acquisitions will enhance your fit for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage payroll for 2,000 employees across multiple cycles
• Lead year-end payroll audits and T4 preparation
• Supervise a team of five payroll professionals
• Ensure compliance with multi-union agreements
• Oversee implementation of payroll systems improvements
Requirements:
• Strong payroll compliance knowledge in Ontario
• Experience with multi-collective bargaining agreements
• PCP or PLP certification preferred
• Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions processes
• Systems experience with ADP WFN or Dayforce is an asset
