Senior Manager, Environmental Risk at BMO

Shape BMO's Environmental & Social Risk program in this senior management role. Drive enterprise-wide risk reporting, governance, and social risk initiatives to enhance compliance.

This role is central to BMO's Environmental & Social Risk Management function. You will lead E&S risk reporting, stakeholder engagement, and governance activities while collaborating across various risk forums. Key to your success will be a strong understanding of governance practices and risk identification, assessment, and oversight across multiple categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise-level E&S risk reporting

• Support senior management and governance committees

• Develop and refine the Social Risk Management Program

• Provide expert risk insights and recommendations

• Manage governance meetings and oversight frameworks

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in risk management

• Expert understanding of audit and compliance practices

• Strong communication and relationship management skills

• Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively

• Knowledge of banking products and financial markets
