In this leadership position, you will report to the Vice-President, People & Experience, overseeing all aspects of labour relations, employee safety, and compliance with workplace laws. Your strategic insight will guide grievance management and lead various compliance initiatives while ensuring a supportive environment for all staff. This role is integral to enhancing CAMH’s commitment to mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all aspects of employee and labour relations
• Manage complex grievance and arbitration cases
• Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations
• Ensure effective workplace safety claims management
• Collaborate with diverse teams to drive workforce initiatives
Requirements:
• Law degree (Juris Doctor or LL.B.) mandatory
• 6–10 years in labour relations in health care
• Deep knowledge in occupational health and safety regulations
• Proven analytical and strategic planning abilities
• Experience in multi-union and public sectors preferred
