- Support strategic claims decisions focused on customer experience, operational excellence and financial performance
- Develop analytical methods to understand inflationary pressures in bodily injury coverage and other business segments
- Contribute to operational initiatives mitigating inflationary pressures
- Accelerate exploration of GenAI use cases in claims operations
- Monitor the impact of reforms affecting Accident Benefits, Large Loss and Specialty Lines in Ontario and Alberta
- Contribute to large-scale projects improving operational out performance across claims
- Help achieve employee engagement, indemnity control and customer experience improvement goals
- Analyze and interpret actuarial analysts' reports and make recommendations to improve claims operations performance
- Manage performance reviews, development and coaching for group members
- Organize, plan and control human, financial and material resources according to company strategies and budget
- Manage and provide technical advice to actuarial staff
- Represent the CDAT Actuarial Service at workshops and committees
- Advise claims operations personnel on data-driven decisions to control claims, increase efficiency and improve customer experience
- University degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- FCAS designation is an asset
- At least 7 years of experience, including 2 years in management or coaching, is a definite asset
