Associate Director of Valuations

Position: Associate Director of Valuations at SLC Management
Take the lead in valuation delivery at SLC Management, a global asset management firm. We’re looking for an Associate Director to ensure timely, accurate valuations across asset classes while fostering operational excellence.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee the valuation process, working with finance, risk, and external clients. Your expertise will drive scalable processes while you support valuation teams through complex challenges. Engage with senior stakeholders and maintain strong operational controls in a fast-paced environment focused on development and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily and month-end valuation delivery for asset classes

• Serve as execution backstop during elevated risk and complexity

• Review valuation outputs for complex items prior to release

• Own valuation platforms and vendor pricing integrations

• Manage and guide team members through mentoring and support

Requirements:

• 5+ years in securities valuation or a related role

• Experience with third-party valuation providers and platforms

• Proven leadership and change management skills

• Ability to resolve operational issues under tight deadlines

• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders
