AtPwC, ourCPA Centre of Excellence(CoE) focuses onmanagingthefull lifecycle ofCPA designation support forstaff and partners,guiding them through complex programrequirementsandprovidingongoing advice,resources and support throughout their CPA journey.

As amanageron this team, you willwork with subject matter expertsandproject teamsto shape the future CPA Program, design effective support initiatives, and enhance the experience and successof our people.

This role requires a Canadian CPA designation andprovideshigh visibility with PwC leadership and regulators.

Your role will include, butisn’tlimited to:

Key Operational Responsibilities
  • Leading thedesign,delivery and implementation of thefirm’snational CFE in-house training program and support framework for CPA candidates
  • Collaborating with external instructors to shape and enhance the formal training program
  • Creating supplementary learning resources, presentations, and guidance onprogrampolicies
  • Managing relationships with external markers and instructors for English and French programs, including budget oversight, programchangesand feedback delivery
  • Developing mentorship programsandorganizingmock examssessionssupporting a strongmentorshipculture
  • Communicating exam results and analysis to leadership to support program strategy and execution
  • Developingandupdatingprocessdocumentationsandpreparinganddelivering changemanagementcommunications and presentations
  • Building andmaintainingstrong relationships with HC teams, Firm leaders, and key contacts,including CPAregulatoryprovincial bodies
  • Executingandreviewing workacrossother CPA processes, including practical experience reporting, module and student registration, fee payments, and special reporting projects
  • RepresentingCPACoEoncommittees, work streams andat recruiting events, while contributing expertise, fostering stakeholder relationships, and supporting keyfirminitiatives
  • Coaching and development of team members
Transformational Responsibilities- thenew CPA Professional Program
  • Participating inCPAprovincial body working groupsfor the new CPA Professional Program, providing feedback andrecommendationsto support program development and execution
  • Scoping thedesign of the futureinternaleducation and examination support program
  • Developing and implementingnewfirmprograms,policies, and processes to support the transition to and delivery of the new CPA Professional Program
  • Presenting program design and policy recommendations to leadership to support informed decision-making and strategic objectives
  • Evaluating technology solutions to support the efficient implementation, delivery, and ongoing administration of the new CPA Professional Program

  • Canadian CPA designation withrelevantexperience in a professional services role
  • Knowledge of the Canadian CPAprogramsand must have written the Common Final Examination (CFE)
  • Passion for counselling and providing guidance to CPA students
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage trusting relationships with key leaders and internal business partners with a commitment to exceptional client service
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills in managing multiple deadlines and complex projects. Able to move effortlessly between strategic topics and day-to-day activities.
