Lactalis Category Management Leader

In this position, you will be responsible for executing the category management vision for Lactalis Canada’s Cheese & Table spreads Division.

Your role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to balance the needs of customers, shoppers, and our outcomes. Lead a talented team to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies while ensuring the effective use of insights from data sources like Nielsen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute category management vision

• Coordinate with Sales to enhance category plans

• Direct a team of managers and information analysts

• Manage pricing and shelf-space optimization

• Leverage analytics to translate data into actions

Requirements:

• Completed University Degree or college diploma

• 8-10 years of experience in the CPG sector

• Strong command of Nielsen and Space Management software

• Excellent leadership and negotiation abilities

• Solid understanding of business financials and market trends
