Territorial Health and Safety Manager

Oversee the day-to-day Health and Safety Program at The Salvation Army in a pivotal managerial role. This position focuses on compliance, risk management, and fostering a culture of safety across diverse regions.

As the Territorial Health and Safety Manager, you will report to the Territorial Director of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing. Your responsibilities include drafting policies, monitoring legislative changes, and evaluating program effectiveness. You'll work closely with leaders to promote a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring that all operations meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Health and Safety Program

• Monitor legislation to maintain program compliance

• Oversee communication and execution of safety initiatives

• Evaluate programs through analysis and reporting

• Provide coaching and guidance on health and safety practices

Requirements:

• University degree in health & safety or related field

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Proven change management and analytical abilities
