The "working title" of this role is Director of Marketing, but the mission behind the title is to build a narrative with value messaging. In this era of "founder mode," you will be the Founding Marketer and influence EVERYTHING without building an empire of direct reports.

Your role will be the clear editorial authority across all marketing efforts. This isn't a narrow, metric-driven-only role—we need someone who thinks holistically about the entire marketing stack. Since our client is a PLG business, Product Marketing will be central to everything.

Expert level in product marketing: this must be your core strength

Track record as the primary marketing person or team of one at a fast-moving, zero-to-one startup

War stories of moving the needle in previous roles

Currently looking to step up from being the only product marketer to owning the full marketing function
