The Indigenous Community Engagement Coordinator will be instrumental in implementing strategic plans for Indigenous relations r role will center on fostering productive relationships with Indigenous stakeholders and facilitating meaningful engagement initiatives. Collaboration with proposal teams and project groups is crucial to align commitments and ensure appropriate community involvement in Ledcor’s diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Indigenous Relations strategies effectively across projects
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships within Indigenous communities
• Coordinate Indigenous engagement activities and prepare relevant materials
• Provide culturally sensitive guidance on community needs
• Track and document Indigenous participation and commitments
Requirements:
• At least 2 years in Indigenous relations or community engagement
• Relevant Degree/Diploma in Communications or Indigenous Studies
• Excellent communication skills for drafting culturally relevant content
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal databases
• Capability to manage various tasks and travel when necessary
