Join Cystic Fibrosis Canada as an Event Officer, driving fundraising efforts in a hybrid role based in Greater Toronto. This position focuses on event management to support people living with cystic fibrosis.
As the Event Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering Cystic Fibrosis Canada's signature events. Your responsibilities include leading the Fusion Gala and various fundraising initiatives, while engaging with sponsors, participants, and volunteers. The ideal candidate will excel in project management, communication, and fundraising activities to ensure impactful events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead planning and execution of the Fusion Gala
• Manage communications with event participants and sponsors
• Supervise event budgeting and logistics
• Foster relationships with local vendors and stakeholders
• Support volunteer recruitment and event day operations
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of event planning or fundraising experience
• Proven multitasker with strong organizational skills
• Volunteer management and communication expertise
• Familiarity with MS Office and event software
• Valid driver's license is an asset
