Position: Social Services Volunteer Role 2026
Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is seeking a Social Services Volunteer Coordinator for the Canada Summer Jobs Program 2026. Focus on volunteer engagement and recruitment within the senior care community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach for diverse volunteer recruitment

• Deliver orientation and training sessions for new volunteers

• Engage teams to expand volunteer-driven services

• Maintain organized records and documentation

• Collaborate to promote volunteer opportunities effectively

Requirements:

• Aged 15–30 years at the job start date

• Possess a valid Social Insurance Number in Ontario

• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required

• Strong customer service and organizational skills

• Prefers experience with elderly populations, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
