In this 12-month contract role, you'll collaborate with the Programs team to recruit, screen, and train volunteers. You'll be responsible for ensuring volunteers have a meaningful experience and for evaluating program activities. Building strong relationships with external stakeholders will play a key part in promoting engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop outreach campaigns for volunteers
• Handle all aspects of volunteer intake and screening
• Administer the volunteer training initiatives
• Respond to matching requests for volunteer assignments
• Measure program outcomes and report findings
Requirements:
• Degree in Human Services or similar field
• Knowledge of the settlement sector and social services
• Experience with youth and immigrant populations
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
