Position: Minister of the Congregation
York minster Park Baptist Church offers a full-time Minister of the Congregation role in Toronto. Engage your vision-driven leadership to provide spiritual direction and dynamic preaching.
This key position focuses on fostering spiritual growth and sustainability in the church community. Collaborate with various leaders and engage with diverse denominations to expand outreach. You will deliver powerful, scripture-based sermons that resonate with our congregation while leading initiatives for community enrichment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver scripture-based messages for spiritual enrichment

• Spearhead initiatives that cultivate church growth

• Work collaboratively within the ministerial team for ministry objectives

• Partner with the Boards for church vision and sustainability

• Strengthen ecumenical ties with other faith communities
Requirements:

• Ordination recognized by a Baptist convention or equivalent

• Master’s degree in Divinity or Theology needed

• Significant leadership experience in church settings

• Excellent communication skills in multiple formats

• Strong pastoral abilities, including conflict management
