Youth Engagement and Education Coordinator

This eight-week contract requires 35 hours weekly, offering flexibility with some evening or weekend hours.
Your role will involve recruiting youth, developing sustainability-focused educational content, and co-leading workshops. Engage young people actively and support community efforts that promote positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support recruitment of diverse youth and mentors
• Develop educational resources focused on sustainability
• Co-present and lead engaging workshop activities
• Create and distribute bi-weekly newsletters
• Aid in organizing community events to enhance youth engagement
Requirements:
• Candidates aged 15 to 30 are eligible
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Valid Social Insurance Number is essential
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to start
• No work permits or visas accepted
