Position: Programs Specialist for Run for the Cure
Take a leading role in cancer care with the Canadian Cancer Society as a Signature Programs Specialist. This hybrid position focuses on managing the Run for the Cure’s volunteer-driven initiatives.

As you report to the Manager of Signature Programs, your job will be pivotal in achieving fundraising and participant goals while providing support across Ontario's events. You'll collaborate within a committed team, enhancing volunteer experiences and fostering stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct support for 4-5 Run for the Cure events

• Coach and guide volunteer Run Directors

• Create high-quality training resources

• Ensure adherence to event safety and standards

• Develop innovative tactics to boost event participation

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in fundraising

• Strong skills in time and project management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce

• Effective relationship management capabilities

• Availability for flexible scheduling in event planning
