Event Specialist

Position: Canadian Cancer Society Event Specialist
Drive impactful cancer fundraising initiatives as the Signature Programs Specialist with the Canadian Cancer Society. This hybrid position centers on the Run for the Cure program and relationship management.

You will manage multiple events, collaborating closely with volunteer committees to foster strong relationships and achieve revenue goals. Your leadership will ensure that each event creates a memorable experience for participants while adhering to safety protocols. This role is crucial for the overall success of the nationwide fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee 4-5 Run for the Cure events in Ontario

• Train and guide volunteer Run Directors

• Lead project initiatives and develop training resources

• Enhance volunteer recruitment and engagement strategies

• Utilize Salesforce for relationship management

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years in fundraising or event coordination

• Strong time management and detail orientation

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Flexible availability for event-related activities

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce preferred
