Hours/Shifts Monday to Friday: 9:00 to 5:00 or 11:00 to 7:00 pm (Rotational On-call Duties Required). Schedules are subject to change to meet departmental needs.
The program offers a unique and innovative approach to skills development and transition planning for men with developmental disabilities and/or dual diagnosis, 18 years of age, and older. We foster an inclusive and supportive environment within the home where people can create and achieve their individual goals. Skill development includes a range of areas from nutrition, budgeting, social networking, household management and self-care to community safety and employment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the SLH leadership team to oversee the day-to-day aspect of the program, ensuring the home is a safe and supportive environment.
- Manage staff schedules and provide support in financial and budget matters.
- Coach and develop the staff team to enable high performance and support them in achieving their goals.
- Contribute to program development and implementation by assessing, developing and evaluating programs for continuous improvement to ensure we meet the needs of the people we support.
- Build relationships with community partners to leverage programs and services offered for the people we support.
- Participate in fundraising activities.
