Job SummaryIn strategic partnership with the Vice President, Development, cultivate and manage a portfolio of relationships with corporate and organizational foundations that meet annual fundraising and campaign goals. Working closely with relevant stakeholders, this role is responsible for leading the research, preparation, submission, and management of grant proposals/reports that support LOFT’s goals and meet funder guidelines, internal review deadlines and criteria. The team builds and nurtures relationships with donors, foundations, and businesses to generate funds that enable LOFT to deliver on its three strategic priorities.
WhatYou Will Do
- Provide strategic leadership to advance LOFT’s corporate and foundation donation priorities and long-term philanthropic sustainability.
- Develop and implement LOFT’s corporate and foundations gift acquisition strategy, focusing on new business development and gifts of $100,000 and more.
- Define compelling cases for corporate and foundation support and articulate program and funding priorities aligned with organizational strategy.
- Ensure structured management of donor relationships, revenue targets, and resources.
- Identify and qualify new corporate and foundation donor prospects capable of making gifts of $100,000 and more.
- Develop and manage a pipeline and portfolio of corporate and foundation donors and prospects.
- Conduct cultivation meetings, solicitation calls, and stewardship activities.
- Develop and implement detailed cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies and execute plans for corporate and foundation donor prospects.
- Research and identify new corporate and foundation prospects aligned with LOFT’s strategic plan.
- Manage acknowledgment, recognition and stewardship process for each grant/donation, including thank you letters, progress and impact reports.
- Collaborate with Development team members to ensure a positive and enriching team volunteer/fundraising experience of key strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate in the development of presentations for prospects.
In partnership with the Vice President, Development, research and develop cases for support that align with LOFT strategic plan. Develop and manage the grant development and submission.
