Make an impact in the Greater Toronto Jewish community as a Mobilization Specialist focusing on activism and engagement. Support advocacy, grassroots efforts, and civic participation to empower change.
In this full‑time, permanent position with UJA Federation, you will define the strategy for community mobilization while leveraging your experience in community organizing and volunteer engagement. With a focus on recruiting and supporting advocates, you will coordinate grassroots efforts and build networks among community leaders and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strategies for activism and mobilization
- Recruit and support community leaders and volunteers
- Coordinate grassroots organizing and leadership opportunities
- Manage outreach initiatives across various stakeholder groups
- Handle campaign logistics and volunteer communications
- 3–5 years in community organizing or advocacy
- Robust relationship‑building and communication skills
- Experience in Jewish communal organizations is a plus
- Organizational and project‑management expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and databases
