Planned Giving Specialist

Seeking a Planned Giving Specialist at Diabetes Canada in Toronto's flexible work environment. Focus on managing donor relations and executing planned giving initiatives that drive impactful fundraising.
In this Planned Giving Officer role, you will manage donor engagements while providing support, tools, and guidance to colleagues. Your efforts will be instrumental in developing fundraising strategies and ensuring alignment with best practices, enhancing the overall effectiveness of philanthropic contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and cultivate relationships with legacy donors

• Implement touchpoints for PG prospects effectively

• Coordinate planned giving messaging across teams

• Update and maintain PG content on the organization’s site

• Organize donor cultivation activities and events
Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in fundraising

• Relevant academic qualifications

• Experience with CRM systems and MS Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with charitable giving and tax strategies
