Contribute to The Bentway as a Programming Assistant, helping to orchestrate cultural events and public engagement activities in Toronto. This hybrid position allows flexibility while making a community impact.
Starting July 6, 2026, this full-time role lasts for eight weeks and involves executing community initiatives and public programming alongside the Programming team. You will play a vital part in ensuring diverse community participation and creating accessible public events that enhance the urban landscape of Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the delivery of public programs and events
• Support community outreach and engagement initiatives
• Help maintain schedules and logistical documentation
• Collaborate on event setup and visitor outreach
• Create and maintain program-related documents
Requirements:
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Background or interest in arts and culture preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Current First Aid/CPR-C certification valued
