Become a pivotal part of Make-A-Wish Canada as a Senior Coordinator for Wish Family Engagement, focused on delivering meaningful experiences in a hybrid work environment. This role is crucial for fostering relationships with wish families post-wish while managing multiple priorities across Canada.
The Senior Coordinator will report to the Director of Inclusive Reach & Alumni Engagement. Your mission will involve enhancing the wish family engagement program, ensuring families receive top-tier support and stewardship. You will employ collaboration and sound judgement while creating impactful engagement experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead wish family engagement from intake to fulfillment
• Develop processes for high-quality family interactions
• Manage priorities to ensure responsive support
• Design trauma-informed post-wish activities
• Build trusted relationships with alumni families
Requirements:
• 5+ years in a not-for-profit or similar field
• Experience with sensitive storytelling and vulnerable populations
• Strong communication skills for difficult conversations
• Education in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
