Be at the forefront of change for Indigenous women as a Senior Program Advisor with OFIFC in Toronto. In this hybrid role, you'll lead innovative programming and policy initiatives targeted at reducing violence against Indigenous women.
Your work will involve collaborative research, advocacy efforts, and the creation of culturally relevant programs. By applying your analytical and creative skills, you will improve service delivery and effectively address the needs of urban Indigenous communities. This role is vital for bridging service gaps within Friendship Centres.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with teams to research Indigenous programming needs
• Analyze service quality and evaluate program impacts
• Develop funding proposals and program budgets
• Prepare and present insightful reports to various stakeholders
• Foster connections with funding agencies to enhance programming
Requirements:
• Post-secondary qualification in Social Sciences or related field
• 3-5 years experience in program analysis and development
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural contexts
• Robust analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proven experience in strategic planning and organization
