This full-time, permanent role demands a strategic mindset in community organizing and volunteer engagement. You will develop mobilization strategies, recruit community advocates, and connect with local leaders. The position plays a critical role in fostering civic participation and grassroots movements within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create strategies for community activism and mobilization
• Recruit and nurture community leaders and volunteers
• Lead grassroots organizing and leadership activities
• Manage outreach efforts to various stakeholder groups
• Facilitate campaign logistics and communicate with volunteers
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in community organizing or advocacy
• Strong skills in building relationships and communication
• Background in Jewish communal organizations preferred
• Expertise in organizational and project management tasks
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and databases
