Community Volunteer Coordinator

Position: Community Volunteer Coordinator Role
Drive engagement and support services for newcomers as a Volunteer Coordinator with MNLC. This position is founded on building relationships and facilitating volunteer experiences.

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of volunteer coordination, collaborating closely with MNLC staff and the Volunteer Lead. Your focus will be on the recruitment, onboarding, and effective communication of volunteers, ensuring they feel welcomed and connected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate volunteer recruitment and intake processes

• Maintain schedules and detailed volunteer records

• Match volunteers to programs and specific roles

• Communicate updates and expectations to all volunteers

• Identify and escalate concerns when necessary

Requirements:

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Comfortable working with diverse community members

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks

• Previous experience in volunteer coordination preferred

• Passion for nonprofit work impacting newcomers
