Civic Action invites motivated young adults aged 18-30 to join Cohort 3 of the Youth Civic Corps in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. This unique volunteer program offers training, coaching, and real-world experience aimed at fostering leadership in community-focused projects. Over six months, participants collaborate with teams on issues like housing and economic inclusion, culminating in a Certificate of Recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and participate in community-focused projects
• Collaborate with a team of 4-5 volunteers
• Communicate regularly with placement hosts
• Provide input and problem-solve as a team
• Track project progress and meet deadlines
Requirements:
• Ages 18-30, Canadian citizens or residents
• Live, work, or study in GTHA
• Commit to 120 hours over six months
• Participate in training and project activities
• Attend a virtual group interview
