Senior Philanthropy Officer

Elevate the impact of United Way Greater Toronto as a Senior Philanthropy Officer, focusing on Principal Giving. Drive strategies for million-dollar gifts essential for community development.

Located in Toronto, this role requires working closely with the Director of Principal and Planned Giving. You will oversee a portfolio of high-net-worth donors and develop strategic relationships aimed at transforming community investment. Your skills in donor stewardship and engagement will be critical in nurturing giving opportunities at the $1M level and above.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop donor strategies for high-value Principal gifts

• Manage a portfolio of affluent donor relationships

• Create engaging proposals and stewardship reports

• Collaborate on solicitations with Comprehensive Campaign teams

• Maintain robust relationships with volunteers and donors

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of major gift fundraising experience

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Proven success in securing significant financial contributions

• Familiarity with planned giving instruments

• Proficient in donor database and analytical tools
